2025 Providence Performance Season

PERFORMANCE DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED IN JUNE 

 We are excited to announce our first concerts for the 2025 season.

PVD Fringe:  The Stronger an opera by Hugo Weisgall.   Olivia Rich stars in this short opera as Estelle, a famous singer who confronts her rival for her husband’s affections in a bar on Christmas eve?   Which woman is truly the stronger?  Featuring concert arias by Beethoven and Poulenc.

Kirsten Chambers and George Lyons – October 4th at The Music Mansion
Our first fall concert will feature soprano Kirsten Chambers and tenor George Lyons singing wonderful arias and duets from Massenet’s Manon, Meyerbeer’s Les Huguenots and Puccini’s La Bohème, and Turandot.

Lara Michole Tillotson and George Lyons – October 25th at The Music Mansion.
The second fall concert of the year will feature mezzo sorpano Lara Michole Tillotson and tenor George Lyons singing arias and scenes from Bellini’s Norma, Meyerbeer’s Le Prophète, Ponchielli’s La Gioconda, and Bizet’s Carmen.

Jeffrey Goble and George Lyons – November 8th at the Music Mansion
The third fall concert of the year will present bass baritone Jeffrey Goble and tenor George Lyons in scenes from Bizet’s Les pêcheurs de perles, Meyerbeer’s Robert le diable, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor and Verdi’s Les Vêpres Siciliennes.

Jennifer Zamorano and George Lyons – November 15th at the Music Mansion
Our final concert for the 2025 season will reunite soprano Jennifer Zamorano and tenor George Lyons in a concert featuring music from Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, Verdi’s French Grand Opera Don Carlos, and Puccini’s two great operas Tosca and La Rondine.
