I am not a “pop” singer but like all opera singers, I occasionally indulge myself by performing a “pop” song and the piece I usually turn to is a song called “Grateful” by John Bucchino.    It is a song that so deeply and accurately expresses the gratitude that I feel every day for my friends, my family and the people who believe in the art that we strive to create.

As we begin 2025, I am very grateful for the support that we have received in 2024 as we transitioned from Renegade Music and Concerts into Hope and Anchor Opera.   I am grateful for the audience members who have stuck with us and the donors who have helped us come this far.   And I am grateful for the team of people on our board who are helping to guide us into a solid foundation.

And most of all, I am looking forward.

I am looking forward to the beginnings of rehearsals for our upcoming spring concerts.    I am looking forward to working on a small-scale staged production for this summer.   I am excited and looking forward to the surprises we have in store for you but are not ready to announce yet.   If you’re not subscribed to our emails, you should do that today.

2025 is going to be exciting and we’ve got some great things instore for you.
